D’Egg is a local diner located downtown Norfolk. It is constantly packed during lunch, so be sure to get a bit early or late. The staff is super friendly and the service there is definitely outstanding.
This, my friends, is a D’Egg burger. Yup, that’s lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, onions, bacon, cheese, annnnnnd a fried egg (hidden underneathe the cheese). Basically perfection. Now I know that Red Robin has a similar burger, but I haven’t had it yet — so I can’t really make a comparison.
The only thing is that the bun is a bit on the crumbly side. Also I might not go with french fries as a side, if you prefer crispy fries like me.
My favorite items are D’Egg are any of the breakfast foods, the corned beef and cabbage & the fish and chips. If you’re planning to go for lunch, plan to go early or late to avoid the lunch rush!
