Qdoba Mexican Grill, a Mexican chain restaurant, is one of the new burrito bars popping up in Hampton Roads. My love for burritos probably steams from my mom, who sometimes creates her own burrito bar at home on the weekends.
Like all burritos, the size alone is staggering and almost intimidating. At Qdoba, you can choose a signature flavor such as ancho chile BBQ, queso and fajita ranchera. I ordered a queso burrito with grilled steak (about $7-8). It was filling, but something didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I think I needed a splash of lime or something really zippy to cut through the cheese, rice and meat.
I recommend checking this out if you’re into burritos!

Love the ‘dob! That’s our regular Wednesday lunch spot for me and my work fellas. Important note, the Qdoba rewards card gives you a free entrée for every 1000 points (1 entrée = 1000 pts) and they have double-points Wednesdays FTW!
I dance 2 Qdoba! Next time u might add the medium green salsa for that extra zip ur missin.
Today for lunch I got the Steak Queso burrito with rice, no beans, and added some extra meat (grilled chicken), on top they put Pico de gallo, along with that medium green salsa, shredded cheese, and sour cream! Then I skipped dinner LOL!!!
I might have to steal Jasons’ name for Qdoba, ‘the dob’ I luv it!
