I made this for New Year’s because it has black-eyed peas — which Lindsey informed me is a New Year’s tradition. It was a hit during the party, and I’ve had a quite few requests for this recipe afterward.
The Basics

- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
This recipe was given to me by Wanda Janz. The first time I ever had it was on Halloween at the Janz’ sometime during high school. Jela and I completely flipped over them! Lindsey’s mom was so kind to make them for my New Years Party last year, and people devoured them in minutes.
