Turkey ala king is one of my favorite comfort foods.  My mom usually makes it after Thanksgiving with the leftover turkey, so it always reminds me of the holidays.  But you don’t have to wait until the holidays to make this hearty dish!  I had leftover turkey legs.

It doesn’t get much better than this!  Aloha Hawaiian BBQ offers delicious authentic Hawaiian and Thai cuisine.  Most of the dishes are priced less than $8, so it’s a great bargain if you’re looking for something new.  Don’t be fooled by it’s humble exterior (I think it used to be a Chinese fast food restaurant), true yummy-ness awaits inside!

I was completely amazed on how delicious and easy Emeril’s chicken marsala recipe was.  The chicken was cooked perfectly and the mushroom sauce melted flavor and was a creamy dream.

I made a few alterations and it turned out just as well.

  • I used beef broth because that’s what I had on hand.
